The CDM4630 is a DC/DC step-down uModuleregulator with standalone dual 18A or single 36Aoutput.Included in the module are the switchingcontrollers, power FETs, inductors and supportcomponents. A few of filters or holding capacitorsand resistors are required externally to be acomplete step-down dual output DC/DC regulator.The input voltage range of the module is 4.5V to16V, and the output voltage can be set in the rangeof 0.6V to 5.5V with an external sampling resistor.The module supports external frequencysynchronization, multiphase operation, burst modeoperation and output voltage tracking for supply railsequencing.The module has an onboard temperature diode fordevice temperature monitoring. Fault protectionfeatures include overvoltage and overcurrentprotection.
